The Furman Dance Company

The Furman Dance Company support Furman University athletic events (football, men's and women's basketball and men's baseball) in Greenville SC, performing choreographed routines to a variety of musical selections. The Furman Dance Company will also be featured within the Furman Paladin Regiment's parade, pre-game, football half-time performances, freshman orientation, the annual downtown Greenville Christmas parade, Dance Spectacular hosted at Furman and other special performances along with field and court-side appearances. Furman Dance Company is holding auditions this summer. The dancers that are selected will have a variety of dance experience and strong technical backgrounds (ballet, hip-hop, jazz, modern, tap, lyrical, musical theater, etc). Contact M.Morlock-Pielet@furman.edu for the requirements for the tapes. Audition tapes are being accepted until July 15 and Dancers making the new team will be notified by Aug 1st.
